GET STARTED!

• The appliance requires no installation; it should be used solely as a portable appliance.
Mains operated portable appliances are not suitable for use in a bathroom.
• During the first few minutes of initial use, you may notice a slight odour and some
smoke. This is normal and will quickly disappear. It is the coating applied to the
heating elements to prevent rusting during transit.
• Before plugging the unit into the mains, ensure by visual inspection that the unit
is intact and has not suffered any damage during transit.
CAUTION!
The appliance must be always placed on a flat
and stable surface.
USE
This product can be used in both horizontal and vertical position.
Turn the thermostat knob (right) in a clockwise direction until it reaches
the maximum setting.
• Summer service (ventilation only): Turn the knob
• Heating at reduced power: Turn the switch knob to setting • (1000 W).
• Heating at full power: Turn the switch knob to setting •• (2000 W).
• Switching off: Turn the switch knob to setting O.
REGULATING THE THERMOSTAT
When the room has reached the required temperature turn the right thermostat knob
(where included) in an anti-clockwise direction up to the point where the appliance
switches off and not beyond. The temperature fixed in this way will be automatically
regulated and kept at a constant level by the thermostat.
OVER HEATING PROTECTION
The heater is fitted with a safety device which will switch off the heater in case of
accidental overheating (eg. Obstruction of air intake and outlet grilles, motor turning
slowly or not at all). To reset, disconnect the plug from the power for a few minutes,
remove the cause of overheating then plug the appliance in again.
