5. Battery replacement
Replace the batteries with new AA-batteries when the battery symbol
appears (fig . A2) .
• Do not use rechargeable batteries!
• Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged .
• Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not to be
mixed .
• When replacing the batteries, observe the correct polarity .
Disposal
Batteries may contain environmentally hazardous substances . Therefore,
used batteries must be disposed of at special collecting points and not
be mixed with general household waste .
At the end of the remote control's lifetime, the batteries must be dis-
posed of separate from the appliance .
