2. Description of appliance
The FXS Next remote control set consists of the FX Next remote control
and the radio adapter . The FX Next enables convenient operation of the
CFX, CEX, DFX, DEX Next, DEX Next S and DSX Touch instantaneous

water heaters even if the instantaneous water heater is installed under a
washbasin or in an adjacent room . Data transmission between the radio
remote control and the instantaneous water heater takes place securely
via Bluetooth .

Mounting the radio adapter inside a instantaneous water heater
With the CFX, DEX Next S, DFX and DSX Touch models, the radio adapter
is already installed at the factory.
• Before assembling the transmission unit disconnect the instantaneous
water heater from the mains supply!
• Pay attention to the proper position of the connector!
• The connector has to be fitted into the notch properly .
1 . Open the instantaneous water heater according to the manual of the
appliance .
2 . Remove the electronics cover (if present) .
3 . Plug the radio adapter onto the electronics (see fig . A5 or A6) .
4 . Snap the electronics cover back on .
5 . Replace the bonnet and fasten it .
