8.1 Transport

The GEMÜ 534 pneumatically operated
2/2-way valve is a metal globe valve with
a straight through body and a plastic
piston actuator. The valve bodies and
the seat seals are available in various
designs as shown in the data sheet.
Diverse accessories are available, such as
electrical position indicators, stroke limiters,
electro-pneumatic positioners and process
controllers.
The valve spindle is sealed by a self-
adjusting gland packing providing low
maintenance and reliable valve spindle
sealing even after a long service life. The
wiper ring fitted in front of the gland packing
protects the seal against contamination and
damage.
