2.1. SIZE AND LOAD

Static tests described in EN 813, EN 358
were carried out for 120 kg weight and
the loads were applied accordingly. The
dynamic tests were also carried out with
the maximum usable weight of 120kg.
During additional dynamic tests (fall
distance: 60 cm) the gear loops (ar-
tificial leather only) were loaded as
indicated, equally distributed left and
right (requirement: load must be held).
Tests described in CSA Z259.1 and
ASTM F887-16 were carried out at 100
kg as given in the standard. Fall distance
of CSA and ASTM is lower than that of
AS/NZS & EN.
