Variant 2 (Ropstop + SB): tubular webbing (SB)
as a connection between the fall arrester and the
fall arrest harness; additionally webbing energy
absorber (only BFD UNO admissible) required
between the anchor point and the anchor line
(designated Ropstop 3+SB)
2. How to fix the fall arrester at the anchor line:

Press the red locking lever at the device down-
ward (Pic. 2)
Press the opening flap (PUSH) and pull it down-
�
ward in the direction indicated by the arrow
(PULL) until the flap engages in the slot (Pic. 3
and Pic. 4).
�
Open the device.
�
Insert the anchor line - IMPORTANT: The direc-
tional arrow (UP) at the device MUST point up-
ward -> in the direction of the anchor point (Pic.
5 and Pic. 6)

Close the device and push the opening flap
(PUSH) until it rebounds and snaps into place
(Pic. 7). CAUTION: Danger of injury!

Fold the red locking lever back to its initial posi-
tion (LOCK) (Pic. 8

Position the lateral spring shackle (with arrow
and marking LOCK) at the device in pos. 1
(neutral, Pic. 9) and check if the device slides
upward freely at the anchor line and/or blocks
immediately at the rope as soon as it is pulled
sharply downward.

To prevent the device from gliding at the rope
the spring shackle can be positioned in pos. 2
(Pic. 10). Thus the device is fixed at the rope,
and its position cannot be changed by its own
weight >> restraint system.

3. How to fix the fall arrester at a fall arrest
harness acc. to EN 361:
Only a fall arrest harness may be used as the
body holding device in a fall arrest system.
Hook the Trilock steel carabiner of the connection
between fall arrester and fall arrest harness (web-
bing energy absorber or connecting strap) into the
fall arrest eyelet (identified with a letter A) in the
chest region or the dorsal region and make sure
that it is closed properly.
We recommend using the fall arrest eyelet in the
chest region.
IMPORTANT
Apart from the webbing or webbing energy absorber
fixedly installed by the manufacturer no additional
extensions may be used between the fall arrester
and the fall arrest eyelet of the fall arrest harness.
