9.1 Operation by pushbutton (T1/T2 for D1/D2)
The effect of the pushbutton varies depending on the
setting of the coding switch (see 5.2 and following pages):
To switch on the lighting:
• Momentarily press the pushbutton:
a. Function ON: The last brightness level set on the
central dimmer is set automatically.
b. Function soft ON: The 6593-.../STD-500MA central
dimmer starts from OFF to the last set brightness level
within a maximum of 5 seconds.
• Holding down the pushbutton:
The 6593-.../STD-500MA central dimmer starts from
OFF and turns up the lighting as long as the pushbutton
is depressed or until the maximum brightness level has
been reached.
To switch off the lighting:
• Momentarily press the pushbutton:
c. Function OFF: The current brightness level is stored as
a memory value. The 6593-.../STD-500MA central dimmer
switches off.
