Work on the 230 V supply system may only be carried
out by authorized electricians.
Switch off the upstream fuse before working on the
lighting unit.
Please consider VDE 0100. part 410, as well as these
operating instructions when connecting the lines for
safety extra-low voltage (D, +, – ). Ensure that there is
a sufficient safety clearance to lines under mains
voltage.
1.1 Directives
The 6597-.../STD-SBS control module meets the require-
ments of the Low Voltage Directive and EMC Directive.
This is certified by the CE-labelling on the device. When
installing a system with e.g. 6593-.../STD-500MA central
dimmers, the person setting up the system is urged to
observe the EMC Directive for the system configuration.
