Modes of operation
5.1 Basic functions/start up
The basic functions of the device are determined by the
wiring. The device automatically detects the desired mode
of operation by the initial operator input during the initial
start up or after a reset.
- pushbutton mode or
- analog mode (see also Chapter 5.11)
In the pushbutton mode, short signals are interpreted as a
switching command ("momentarily pressing"), long signals
as a dimming command ("pressing"). The repetition of a
dimming command changes the dimming direction.
With the exception of group control (see also Chapter 7.1),
the commands are only effective within the respective
channel.
