Change hydraulic hoses
The recommended replacement intervals for normal requirements are 6 years including a
maximum of 2 years of storage.
If there is an increased requirement after 2 years of operation.
Increased requirement:
■ Increased operating times.
■ Short cycle times and pressure pulses.
■ Strong external and internal (through the medium) influences, which greatly reduce
the period of use of the hose lines.
■ Observe the standard for the period of use of fluid power hydraulic hose lines.
For hydraulic hoses, an annual check for safe working condition is mandatory. The
examination must be carried out by a specialist.
Use only hydraulic hoses recommended by the manufacturer.
The hydraulic hoses must also be replaced in the case of:
■ Damage to the outer layer up to the insert (scuffs, cuts, cracks).
■ Embrittlement of the outer layer (cracking).
■ Deformation of the natural form, both in the pressure less and in the pressurized
state.
■ Leakage
■ Damage or deformation of the valve.
■ The fitting moves out.
■ Duration of use exceeded.
