Bleed the cylinder
After a repair, air can get into the hydraulic system, causing malfunctions.
Risk of injury
from liquids spraying out under high pressure
■ Wear protective clothing/goggles/gloves.
■ Only work on the unloaded lifting table.
■ No person may be in the danger area during the venting process.
1. Lower the lifting table to the lowest position.
2. Place an oil collection container under the pump.
3. Slightly loosen the vent screw on the cylinder (àIllustration 7.1).
4. If there are no bleed screws, then the cylinders are installed in such a way that they
bleed themselves.
5. Actuate the foot pedal (1) until the oil comes out of the ventilation opening without any
bubbles.
6. Tighten the bleed screw.
7. Check the oil level and top up if necessary.
8. If necessary, bleed the pump (customer service).
9. After venting the lifting table, move it up and down several times.
