3 Function and device overview
The Homematic IP Contact Interface allows easy and
flexible integration of glass break sensors or magnetic
contacts into your Homematic IP smart home system.
The glass break sensor or magnetic contact can easily be
connected to the contact interface to reliably monitor
windows or doors, for example, and monitor them at all
times via the free Homematic IP smartphone app.
Thanks to the battery operation and radio communica-
tion, the device can be mounted flexibly and easily at the
desired position.
