Intended use
SIMATIC products are intended for use in industry. If you plan to use the product in a different environment, check the

The power supply may only be connected by qualified and authorized personnel. In particular, observe the information in the

NOTE
The power supply must be connected by the operator/user in accordance with the national regulations regarding installation.
WARNING
Danger from voltage/current!
Only perform assembly and disassembly work when the device is de-energized.
Only install products with IP20 degree of protection according to IEC 60529 in enclosures, cabinets or electrical operating
rooms suitable for the end application.
WARNING
Safety functional extra low voltage
The product must be operated with safety functional extra low voltage (SELV, PELV). You can find more information on safety
functional extra low voltage in the documentation (https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/84133942) of the
fail-safe I/O and in the data sheets of the power supplies to be used.
Use a power supply unit with output voltage that does not exceed 36 V DC even in the event of a fault.
Observe the maximum permissible switching conditions specified in the equipment manual for F-RQ modules.
Follow the notes and warnings in the respective equipment manual.
