For the cleaning operations proceed as follows:
1) Remove the product and the shelves from the tank.
2) Switch off using main switch (if present) and unplug the unit.
3) Remove the frontal grid uscrewing fixing screws and extract the
flexible discharge tube.
4) Put below a tray for draining water.
5) Remove the internal draining plug.
6) Clean and dry the interior of the tank with a soft cloth, using neutral soap.
7) Reset the water discharge tube, the grid and the plug inside; switch on the
unit with the lights off; after 1 hour the cabinet is ready to preserve your
products again.
Do not use jets of water to clean the cabinet, electric circuit can be damaged.
When the unit is not used for a long time, please take note
of the following procedures:
- unplug the unit;
- clean and dry well the tank;
- leave the glass door open to avoid unpleasant smell;
- cover the unit and put it in a dry and sheltered place.
The unit is equipped with a "functional" thermostat
(adjustable) for regulation of the temperature, placed
in the upper inside the tank. The thermostat shows a
numbered scale; these numbers do not indicate the
value of temperature but are just reference positions:
a higher number corresponds to a lower temperature
(pos. 5.5 optimum regulation).Model EIS 104 is also
equipped with a "no frost" security thermostat (not
adjustable) that avoid possible evaporator ice blocking.

Model EIS 214 makes the defrostinc automatically.
If you want to set a defrosting time, just defrost the
unit manually by rotating timer knob (A) placed
behind front grid.
