» The following may affect your test results: Consump
tion of alcohol in the last 24 hours. Drinking coffee,
juice or other beverage, mouth spray, brushing teeth
or smoking 30 minutes prior to the test.
» If your results show more than 60 ppm, retest imme
diately following the instructions carefully. If you con
tinue to get these readings you may be experiencing
a serious medical condition know as ketoacidosis.
There may be a serious risk to your health. Ketoaci
dosis requires medical attention. Please seek medi
cal help immediately.
» This product is a high quality and sensitive measure
ment device. To maintain the accuracy of the sensor,
it should regularly be used. If the device is not used
for an extended period of time, the sensor can dry
out. ACE Instruments recommends using the device
at least 2 times per month.
» Due to changes in the product, the procedures sta
ted can change. This can take place without prior
notice or adaptation of the operating manual and
is no cause for complaint, return or price reduction.
The user is responsible for recognizing discrepan
cies between the operating manual and the actual
handling of the breathalyzer and must react accor
dingly.
