not added to the 300 tests possible with the device!

» In case you want to compare the readings of the ACE
KETOSCAN mini with those of a blood test, the ma
nufacturer gives the following advice: Although many
studies have shown that blood ketone (BHB) and
breath ketone (acetone) correlate in some way, in
practice it is difficult to convert from ppm to mmol/L
(or vice versa) because different substances are
measured in each case. Therefore a conversion from
ppm to mmol/L is not possible (blood test device =>
BHB / unit of measurement: mmol/L, ACE Ketoscan
mini => acetone / unit of measurement: ppm).
» If the device does not work, please contact the nea
rest service centre in the menu „Service centre" of
the KETOSCAN app or the dealer from whom you
purchased the device.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE, STORAGE AND CLEANING
A) Results may be affected if you drink beverages such
as coffee, juice, etc. without water within 30 minu
tes before the measurement and if you eat or smo
ke food or brush your teeth (including mouthwash)
within 30 minutes before the measurement. Alcohol
content may affect the results if drinking within 24
hours or a hangover persists.
B) The accuracy of the sensor may be affected if the
device is not used for more than 6 months. Plea
se contact a service centre near your location (you
can find it in the „Service centre" menu in the KETO
SCAN application) or the dealer where you bought
the device.
C) Do not open the casing.
D) Refrain from washing the unit or treating it with clea
ning agents, especially cleaning with alcohol can be
the cause of unit faults. Wipe the unit carefully with a
dry towel and a cotton swab.
