5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Make sure the vacuum cleaner is not connected to the mains before cleaning or servicing it.

1. Press the button on the dust container's handle.
2. Remove the tank.
3. Press the button on the bottom of the dust container to open it.

Removing and cleaning the filtering system
a. Dual Cyclone filter Fig. 5
1. Press the button on the dust container's handle.
2. Remove the tank.
3. Hold the dust tank, turn the lid counterclockwise, and remove it.
4. Remove the Dual Cyclone filter.
5. Clean it.
b. Air-outlet filter Fig. 6
Press the button on the air-outlet filter grille to open it.

Remove the air-outlet filter for cleaning or replacement.

- Vacuum and shake the filters to remove every particle and dust remain that may block
them and difficult the correct air circulation. Remember not to use the vacuum cleaner
without the filters properly assembled.
- Filters cannot be washed inside a washing machine nor dried with a hair dryer.
- Do not brush the high-efficiency filter.
Note:
The vacuum cleaner's filter sponge will collect dust. This is normal and will not affect the
filter's performance. If the amount of dust accumulated on the filter sponge affects suction
performance, then it is advisable to remove the filter, rinse it, and leave it to dry for 24 hours,
in a ventilated place away from fire or other hot objects before putting it back into the vacuum
cleaner. This should be done once every six months or when you notice a loss in suction power.
Before replacing it, make sure it is completely dry, otherwise it may damage the vacuum
cleaner.
