SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

SAFETY OF CHILDREN AND VULNERABLE PERSONS

This appliance can be used by children 8 years of age or older and persons with restricted
physical, sensory or intellectual capabilities or a lack of experience and knowledge, if they are
observed by a responsible person or if they have received instructions on how to use the
appliance safely, and understand the associated hazards.

Children aged 3 to 8 years may load and unload this refrigerator.
•
Children should be supervised in order to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
•
The appliance may only be cleaned and maintained by children over 8 years of age under the
supervision of a responsible adult.

Keep all packaging out of the reach of children. There is a risk of suffocation.
•
When disposing of the appliance, pull out the power plug from the socket, cut the connection
cable as close as possible to the appliance and remove the door to prevent playing children
from being electrocuted or trapped inside.

If this appliance with a magnetic door seal is to replace an older appliance with a locking bolt
on the door or lid, make sure that this bolt is unusable before disposing of the old appliance.
This ensures that it will not pose a danger to children.
