4. Install the bar so that the bar slot aligns with both bolts (C) (fig. 6).
5. Spread the chain in a circle with the cutting edges (D) aligned with the markings on the chain saw guard
and guide bar (fig. 7).
6. Run the chain behind the drive chain wheel (E). Check if the chain links are well positioned between the
teeth of the chain wheel (Fig. 8).
7. Insert the links into the bar groove (F) on the periphery (Fig. 8).
8. Rotate the chain to make sure the chain teeth are engaging the teeth of the chain wheel.
9. Replace the chain guard and chain brake shield so that the bolts fit into the holes provided and the chain
tensioning pin fits into the lower hole in the bar (fig. 9).
