Problem
The hob switches off un-
expectedly. You will hear
a signal tone and an er-
ror message will appear
in the sensor field.

Error message in the display
Error code Possible problem
E1 / E2 Wrong mains voltage.
E3 / E4 One of the heat sensors in the glass
ceramic hob measures excessive tem-
perature.
Incorrect cookware.
E5 / E6 Overheating electronics.
F3–F8 Defective temperature sensor.
F9–FA Defective temperature sensor.
Possible solutions/tips
Technical error. Make a note of the error message on the sensor field,
disconnect the hob from the power supply and contact our Service
department see "Service" on page EN-27).

Disconnect the hob from the power
supply and check that the mains volt-
age is correct. Only switch the power
supply back on when the mains voltage
is again normal
Wait until the hob has cooled down.
Inspect the cookware. Then switch the
appliance back on again.
