Overview
This unit is a system component for controlling the routing
of video and audio signals using IP Live System Manager.
It connects to Networked Media Interface devices (herein
referred to as NMI devices), IP audio devices that support
the Dante protocol (herein referred to as Dante devices),
and devices that are Networked Media Open
Specifications compliant (herein referred to as NMOS
devices) connected by IP network connections (such as
Ethernet) via general-purpose network switches, and
controls the routing of video and audio input/output
signals of NMI devices, Dante devices, and NMOS
devices.
The unit features the following functions.
Routing control of video/audio input/output
signals for NMI devices, Dante devices, and
NMOS devices
You can control the routing of video and audio input/
output signals of NMI devices, Dante devices, and NMOS
devices connected by IP network connection via general-
purpose network switches.
Settings management for devices
The settings of NMI devices and Dante devices can be
viewed and edited using the GUI screen of IP Live System
Manager. The settings and status of NMOS device
interfaces can also be viewed.
Role-based user management
Users can be managed based on their roles using the three
available categories; "Administrator" (system
administrators), "Manager" (operation managers), and
"Operator" (operators).
Workgroup management based on use case
You can group users and the interfaces/virtual interfaces
for video and audio streaming input/output of NMI
devices, Dante devices, and NMOS devices into
workgroups, according to the content of the video and
audio, and then activate/manage workgroups when
switching according to the use case.
Network topology monitoring
You can visualize the network topology information of
devices that are connected to each other via a general-
purpose network switch and monitor the packet flow rates
of the network switch ports, as well as display packet loss
and other network errors.
Dashboard
You can display the status of the unit and the status of
devices managed by the unit in list view.

displayed in a web browser on a client PC.
