Setting up the scale and charging the generator

1. Place the scale on an even, firm and dry surface. Do not place the scale on a carpet.
2. Charge the generator by gently pressing down on the display 1-3 times. Attention:
Do not overcharge the generator. Always charge the generator only for a
single use. Note the battery symbol on the display.
Choosing the unit of measurement
The standard unit of measurement upon delivery is "kg" (kilogramme). However, the
measurement can also be displayed in the English unit of measurement "lb" (pounds).
1. Charge the generator by gently pressing down on the display 1-3 times.
2. Use the UNIT button on the back of the scale to set the desired unit of
measurement. Note the display.
Weighing
WARNING against injuries
− Do not step onto the scale with wet feet or when its surface is damp.
Risk of slipping!
1. Charge the generator.
Wait until the display reads "0.0" and the set unit of measurement.
2. Position yourself on the scale. Stand still and do not hold on to anything.
The measured weight will flash on the display several times shortly afterwards.
A few seconds after you step off the weighing surface, the scale will switch off
automatically.
