10. Capacities of the filter cartridges
and bypass settings
The table on the last page of this manual shows the
typical filter capacity and the bypass setting depen-
ding on the total hardness of the drinking water and
its usage.
BWT recommends selecting the filter cartridge type
so that the filter capacity is exhausted after 6 months.

Cause
Water supply in general is
stopped or a valve is closed
Filter cartridge is not mounted
properly in the filter head
Wrong mounted filter head
System pressure is too low
Particles concentration in the
feed water is too high
Particles within the aqua stop
Sealing is defect
System isn't purged completely Repeat the purging/rinsing process.
Action
Open and check all the valves.
Loosen the filter cartridge by turning the
filter cartridge 180 degree clockwise
and tighten the filter cartridge again (see
chapter 6.8).
Check the flow direction of the water
according the arrow (see chapter 6.5),
change the flow direction if necessary.
Check the system pressure (see
chapter 6.2).
Replacement of the cartridge, independent
of remaining capacity. In this case the
frequency of replacement has to be incre-
ased. BWT recommends installing a 5 µm
particle filter before the Woda-Pure filter.
Rinse the system with installed filter.
Check the sealing, if necessary replace
the sealing.
