5 Disassembling the DDL-X-Tool
Disconnecting plugs when under voltage will damage the device!
Large differences in potential occur when disconnecting plugs under
voltage, which could damage the device.
O Make sure the relevant system component is not under voltage before
disassembling the device or when disconnecting plugs.
The connected devices may not be under pressure when disassembling the
DDL-X-Tool.
1. Switch off the 24 V DC supply voltage.
2. Remove the connected plugs.
The DDL-X-Tool may now be removed.
Deinstalling the software
To remove the DDLfWin software from your computer:
1. In the Windows start menu, select "Programs > DDLfWin > ... >
Uninstall_..." and follow the deinstallation assistant instructions.
Or:
1. In the Windows start menu, select "Settings > System control >
Software".
The "Software" mask will open up.
2. Select the "DDLfWin_Master" or "DDLfWin_Viewer" program and
remove it from your operating system.
Deinstalling the driver for the USB-to-CAN adapter:
O Proceed as described in the provided VCI-V2 installation manual.
