About the Battery

This unit contains a non-replaceable internal lithium-ion battery. The battery can
burst or explode, releasing hazardous chemicals. To reduce the risk of fire or burns,
do not disassemble, crush, puncture or dispose of in fire or water.
CAUTION: Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an incorrect type. Dispose of
used batteries according to the instructions.
• The battery must be recycled or disposed of properly
• Use the battery only in the specified equipment
• Do not leave the battery in an extremely high temperature environment that
may result in an explosion or the leakage of flammable liquid or gas
• Do not subject battery to extremely low air pressure that may result in an
explosion or the leakage of flammable liquid or gas

IP Rating

Model FB422 has a water resistance rating of IPX8 under IEC standard 60529, up to a
depth of 50 meters.
Model FB422 has a dust ingress rating of IP6X under IEC standard 60529 which
indicates the device is dust-tight.
Please refer to the beginning of this section for instructions on how to access your
product's IP rating.
