6.6 Winter storage of the system

To protect the filter tank and water-bearing components from frost, they must be emptied of water during
periods of frost, see chapter 7.4: "Storing the filter tank over winter"

6.5 Start-up

Have you read and understood this instruction manual – particularly chapter 2, Safety? You must not
operate this system before you have done so!
The system may be damaged.
•
Thoroughly clean and rinse the swimming pool.
•
Close the pool's floor drain.
•
Close the shut-off valves in the suction and pressure pipe.
•
Using a hose, fill the pool with water up to the desired water level.
•
Make sure that the shut-off valves in the suction and pressure lines are closed.
•
Open the lid for the primary pump screen and fill the preliminary filter housing with water.
Close the lid.
•
Open the shut-off valves in the suction and pressure lines.
•
The filter pump can now be put into operation.

Leaks may occur.
Consult a customer service engineer when first putting the filter tank into
operation and when filling it.

Do not climb on the equipment. Only carry out maintenance and cleaning work
when the system is switched off!

Work on the electrical equipment may only be carried out by electricians.
•
Switch off the system and secure it against being switched back on again.
NOTE
The system may be damaged. Leaks may occur.
It is imperative that you consult a customer service engineer when first putting
the filter tank into operation and when filling it.
NOTE
Check each screw fitting and peripheral device for leaks before carrying out any
work.
