5.6 Pressure and suction pipe

The system may be damaged if the pressure is too high. Impurities from the filter system may get into the
water supply network.
•
Before connecting, check the pipes for the filter system for leaks. The filter system may transmit
sound and vibrations. Leaks may occur. Avoid tension in pipe connections.
•
Produce pipework between the swimming pool and filter system in suitable plastic piping.
•
Install corrosion-free shut-off valves at an easily accessible location in the pressure and suction
pipe – as close as possible to the filter system.

5.7 Backwash pipe

Lay the piping from the valve to the sewer connection so that the backwash water can flow out with
pressure.
Secure the curves when using HT material.

5.8 Filter system electrical connection

The electrical connection may only be made by an electrician. When doing so, local regulations and
VDE 0100 must be taken into consideration. A main switch must be installed on site in the power supply
for the filter system.
•
Set the filter system operating switch to OFF. For safety reasons, a ground
fault circuit interrupter (30 mA) must be integrated into the power supply.
All metal parts must be included in potential equalisation!

5.9 Functional sequence

The filter system circulates and filters the pool water. The pump sucks the pool water out via the
preliminary filter and pushes it back into the pool through the filter tank.
The preliminary filter holds back coarse impurities. The downstream filter tank with filter material
mechanically cleans the pool water.
The swimming pool water will be cleaned the best if you backwash regularly. This frees the filter material
of impurities.

The system must not be connected to the drinking water supply network!

The filter pump may be damaged.

The filter pump must not run dry!

The rotational direction of the pump motor must not be checked when the
system is empty!
