Switching on the answering machine from an external extension
You can also switch on the answering machine from an external telephone
extension.
 Dial your telephone number.
 Wait until after the 10th ringing signal.
 Enter the four-digit code.
The answering machine is switched on. If there is a new message, it is
played back now.
