FINE ADJUSTMENT OF MUTE THRESHOLD LEVEL
The squelch setting of the receiver is adjusted at the
factory so that the system functions optimally. Normally,
no further adjustment is required. However, it is possible
to change this value in order to improve either the signal
quality or range of your system. Please note: If the mute

level is increased, the receiver requires a higher-
quality signal (less noise in signal), but the range
is reduced. Lowering the mute level means that
the poorer signals are also transmitted by the
receiver (more noise permissible before the
squelch function takes effect). Simultaneously,
the range of the system is increased.
