SHAFT VIBRATION MONITOR
The two−channel Shaft Vibration Monitor A6110 is a module of the A6000 machine monitoring
system. The micro−processor controlled monitor is used in conjunction with two eddy current
measuring chains to measure and monitor the relative shaft vibration on all types of turbines,
compressors fans, gear units, etc.
The two channels of the monitor can be used as separate channels or they can be linked together
via the configuration. The following operating modes are possible:

Dual channel operation.
•
The calculation and output of the maximum value S
45670, characteristic value A).
•
The calculation and output of the greater vibration width S
10817 (DIN 45 670, characteristic value B) or Max(X,Y) in accordance with API 670.
The characteristic values can be output via a 0/4 ... 20mA current output per channel

If the contents are incomplete or if is there any damage, so directly complain at the bearer. The
competent epro sales agency must be also informed, to enable repair or replacement for the
monitor. Repair or calibration of this instrument may only be made at epro.
In this product information the mounting and electrical connection of the
monitor is described.
For secure use of the monitor, observe the direction for use "Shaft Vibration
Monitor A6110" (order number: 6110−90001). You can find this direction on
the configuration software CD as pdf−data file. Amongst others, it contains
useful informations for configuration and use of the A6110.
To ensure the safe operation of the monitor and to permit setting of all
functions, it is indispensable to use only the latest versions of configuration
software (version 2.05 or newer) and operating manual.
The use of old operating manuals or configuration programs out of date may
lead to malfunctions or limitations of the measuring functions.
