The two−channel rotational speed monitor A6312 is a module of the A6000 machine monitoring
system. The micro−processor controlled monitor is used in conjunction with two eddy current
measuring chains or hall−effect sensors (e.g. PR 9376) and in combination with triggering
wheels to measure and conditioning of shaft speeds and rotational reference marks
(key−pulses).
Both channels may be used separately used to measure:
• 2 speeds from 2 shafts
2 key−pulses from 2 shafts each with a triggermark (with phase relation)
•
Both channels may also be used in combination with each other:
to detect the direction of rotation of one shaft

to detect a difference between two shaft speeds

If the contents are incomplete or if is there any damage, so directly complain at the bearer. The
competent epro−sales agency must be also informed, to enable repair or replacement for the
monitor. Repair or calibration of this instrument may only be done at epro.

information denoted by A6312 is valid for both types, listed before.

monitor is described.
For secure use of the monitor, observe the direction for use "Rotational Speed
Monitor A6312" (order number: 6110−90025). You can find this direction on
the configuration software CD as pdf−data file. Amongst others, it contains
useful informations for configuration and use of the A6312.
To ensure the safe operation of the monitor and to permit setting of all
functions, it is indispensable to use only the latest versions of configuration
software (version 2.05 or newer) and operating manual.
The use of old operating manuals or configuration programs out of date may
lead to malfunctions or limitations of the measuring functions.
