If the hopper needs refilling during operation, make sure the pellets and/
or pellet bag cannot come into contact with the hot parts of the stove
as this could lead to dangerous situations. Make sure never to touch any
rotating parts in the pellet hopper.
6. REGULATING THE VOLUME OF HOT AIR
This stove is fitted with a hot air control valve which allows controlled direction of the
volume of air to the hot air ducts and the front of the stove. This handle is located on
the front of the stove.
1.
When the handle is turned to the top, the air will be emitted from the front of
the stove. See Figure 16.
2.
When the handle is in the central position, the air will be divided between the
air ducts and the front of the stove. See Figure 17.
3.
When the handle is fully turned down, the air will be led to the ducts. See Fig-
ure 18.
If the hot air ducts are not used, the following work must be carried out:
1.
Seal off the connection points of the hot air ducts with a cap (not supplied).
2.
Place the hot air control valve in the highest setting, so that all the air is blown
out of the front to the stove. See Figure 16
Make sure that the air flow of the room ventilator always travels
across the heat exchanger by placing the air control valve in the correct
position. This prevents the stove from overheating. Follow the above
instructions for the correct position of the air control valve.
7. MAINTENANCE
The heat, ash and residue resulting from burning the fuel means regular clean-
ing and servicing by both the end user and an authorised technician are required.
Thorough and regular cleaning of the stove is important for safety and the ef-
ficient operation of the appliance as well as increasing its lifespan. Do not use
steel wool, hydrogen chloride or other corrosive, aggressive or abrasive products to
clean either the interior or exterior of the stove. Especially after extended periods
of non-use the stove and the flue system must be checked for blockages.
7.1 MAINTENANCE TO BE PERFORMED BY THE END USER
11.
Do not bend or pinch the power cord.
Only carry out maintenance on the stove after checking that it has
completely cooled off both inside and out!
