8. RDNET CONTROL LED
The LEDs indicate the network (RDNet) operating status of the monitor. In particular:
• "Link" lights to indicate that the RDNet network is active and has recognised the device
• "Active" flashes to indicate that there is data traffic
• "Remote Preset Active" warns that all the local controls on the amplifier panel are bypassed by the
RDNet remote control
9. RDNet DATA IN/OUT
Section compatible with network cables fitted with etherCON/RJ45 connectors. In particular:
• "Data In" must be connected to devices such as RDNet Control 2 or Control 8
• "Data Out" is used to link the network to other devices in a daisy-chain configuration
10. BALANCED AUDIO INPUT
Input compatible with balanced XLR cables. Used to input the audio signal from the mixer, or from another
speaker or subwoofer in a daisy chain configuration.
11. BALANCED AUDIO LINK
Output compatible with balanced XLR cables. Used to link the audio signal to other VIO S218F subwoofers in a
daisy-chain configuration.
12. XOVER LPF
Selects the XOVER frequency (70-75-80-85-90-95-95-100-105-Full range) applied to the output [13]. The Service/User
position is used for the firmware update status or to recall a USER setting (see the DBTECHNOLOGIES NETWORK
manual). See also the UPDATING THE FIRMWARE
13. HPF XOVER OUTPUT
Output compatible with balanced XLR cables. An audio signal filtered at the Xover frequency can be used when
sending the subwoofer audio output directly to a speaker (e.g. VIO-L210). This frequency is selected with the
XOVER control [12].
