1. GENERAL INFORMATIONS

WELCOME!

Thanks for purchasing a product that was designed and developed in Italy by dBTechnologies! This subwoofer
is the result of extensive experience in the field of sound diffusion. It uses optimised acoustic and electronic
solutions as well as an optimal choice of materials.

INTRODUCTORY OVERVIEW

The VIO family continues the new dBTechnologies season in the field of sound diffusion for medium and large live
applications, both indoors and outdoors.
VIO S218F is a professional active subwoofer that uses a VIO line-array to create a complete system with excellent
acoustic performance over a wide frequency range. The built-in bracket allows the subwoofer to hang from the
DRK-218F flybar.
Its main features are:
• N.2 18" woofers (voice coil: 4")
• N.2 class-D amplifiers (2 x 1600 W RMS)
• built-in provisions for compatibility and ease of use with other VIO S218F subwoofers
• high-quality plywood cabinet with a polyurea finish for longer surface duration
• floating ADC technology for perfect isolation from interference, noise and buzzing at the audio input
• power supply, audio and network linking for optimised wiring
• on-board RDNet control, predictive software and remote management software (DBTECHNOLOGIES
COMPOSER, EASE, EASE FOCUS 3, AURORA NET)
• dedicated accessories for safe handling (DO-VIOS218F dolly) and hanging (DRK-218F)
