Cette section décrit comment fonctionne l'appareil.
Le thermostat peut être monté sur toute cuve de bain d'un volume maximal de
50 litres. Les thermostats sont utilisés pour une thermorégulation interne et
externe, et fonctionnent, selon la combinaison d'appareils et les accessoires
utilisés, à une plage de température de -50 °C à +200 °C.
Monté sur une cuve de bain, le thermostat devient un thermostat à circulation.
Combiné à un machine frigorifique, il devient un cryostat à circulation.
