Maintenance plan
The type and degree of machine wear depend to a large extent on the operating conditions. The inter-
vals given below apply when the machine is used within the technical limits:

Charging batteries
• Before charging, check the charger (cable, plug, housing) for damage or defects. Never use a de-
fective charger.
• Only use chargers recommended by the manufacturer to charge the battery. Never use chargers
that are not intended for the battery type (fire hazard!).
• Switch off the charger or disconnect the voltage supply to the charger before connecting or dis-
connecting the battery.
• Charge the battery in an upright position.
• Avoid overheating when charging the battery. Ensure sufficient air supply so that no heat build-
up can occur.
• Allow the battery to cool down after heavy use before charging.
• Always charge the battery in a well-ventilated area.
• Do not smoke when charging the battery. Keep the battery away from open flames and sparks.
Oxyhydrogen gas, which is produced when charging the battery, is explosive.
• Allow battery to cool immediately after charging.
• New batteries should be charged for at least 12 hours before use.
• Do not overcharge batteries, the max. charging time of 30 h should not be exceeded.

Hydraulic oil is toxic and must not be released into the environment! Follow
the instructions of the supplier and, if necessary, contact your local authori-
ties for information on proper disposal.

Check for tight fit, tighten if necessary.

Check for function.

Check for cleanliness and dryness.

Check battery status, recharge if neces-
sary.

Charge batteries
•
Lubricate
Position the machine on a level surface.
Connect the charger to the charging socket of the
machine (1) and to the power supply. The battery is
charged, duration approx. 6-7 h.
Read the charging status on the control panel.
After complete charging, disconnect the charger
from the machine and from the charging socket.
