Maintenance and Cleaning

 Unplug the power plug before undertaking any kind of maintenance work or
before cleaning.
 The booster pump does not require maintenance apart from occasionally
cleaning the housing and the filter insert. Do not disassemble the booster
pump and do not try to repair the unit yourself. Repair work must only be
carried out by a professional. Never use corrosive or acidic solvents for
cleaning the booster pump.
Clearing Blockages
 If the pump becomes clogged, connect the discharge line to the water line and
disconnect the suction line. Open the water line.
 Switch on the booster pump several times for approx. two seconds. This
should resolve the majority of clog-related problems.
Cleaning the Filter Insert
 Clean the filter insert at regular intervals and replace it if necessary. Do not
use abrasive cleaning agents or petrol for cleaning the filter insert.
 Clean the filter insert by tapping it on a flat surface. In case of stubborn dirt,
first clean with soapy water, then rinse with clear water and air-dry.
Increasing the Pressure
 The pressure tank is equipped with a flexible
water bag and an airspace with a max. pressure
of approx. 1.5 bar. When water is pumped into
the water bag, the bag will extend and increase
the pressure in the airspace until the cut-off
pressure is reached.
 If the air pressure it too low, it must be increased.
To do so, screw off the valve cover on the
pressure tank and use a tire pressure to measure
the pressure. Add the missing pressure the valve
with a suitable compressor.
 Then screw the valve cover back on.
