Attaching the door handles
Attach the door handles (4) before starting to
use the appliance.
1. Lift out the blind plugs (21) from the side
of the appliance doors (2) and (6).
2. Use the included screws (22) to attach
the longer door handle (4) to the fridge
door (2), and the shorter door handle to
the freezer door (6).

■ Do not operate or continue to oper-

– shows visible signs of damage, e.g.
the mains cable is defective,
– starts smoking or there is a smell of

– makes unfamiliar noises.
In such cases, remove the mains plug

from the socket or unscrew/isolate
the fuse and contact our service de-

partment (see page EN-33).
■ Do not connect to a timer or a sepa-
rate remote-controlled system for dis-
tance monitoring and control.
■ Since all poles of the appliance can-

not be disconnected from the mains
via an accessible disconnecting de-
vice, an all-pole disconnecting device

in accordance with over-voltage cat-
egory III must be connected within
the house installation with at least

3 mm contact clearance; consult a

■ Do not kink or pinch the mains cable
