Safety regulations

Reliability
It' s only allowed to start working with the machine
after an instruction by employees of the distributors,
factory representatives or employees of the GÜTTLER
Company. The machine registration form must be
filled in and sent back to GÜTTLER.
Read all safety instructions contained in this manual
and all warning labels attached to the machine.
Keep the warning labels in a legible condition and
replace all damaged or missing labels. Follow these
tips to avoid accidents. Pass on the safety
instructions to other users. Avoid any unsafe work.
Before the machine is put in use, check if all
protective and safety equipment, such as removable
protective equipment are in place and functioning
reliably.
•
Check nuts and screws regularly for tightness
and tighten if necessary.
•
Check tire pressure regularly.
•
In case of malfunctioning, stop the machine
immediately!
Accident security
Additionally observe the accident prevention rules of
agricultural professional association!
Road traffic safety
When driving on public roads, tracks and areas, it is
important to observe the relevant road traffic laws as
well as the specific regulations relating to the
machine.
If the outside edge of the implement is more than
40cm away from the rear-lights of the tractor it' s
necessary to install additional lights to the front and
to the rear. If license plates are covered by
implements they must be repeated on the machine.
Depending on the machine notice the transport
height. Pay attention to the permitted axle loads, tire
carrying capacity and total weight in order to
maintain adequate braking and steerability.
The front axle must be loaded with at least 20% of
the tractor empty weight. The driving characteristic is
influenced by machines. Pay attention while driving
around corners, consider the centrifugal mass and
the length of the implement.
Clean the entire machine from ingested soil before
getting on the road. The ride on the machine is
strictly forbidden!
Exception for oversize
For machines with more than 3m transport width an
exception is required. The conditions of the
exception must be strictly observed.
Before operation
Before use, always check if all the major screw and
plug connections are tightened, for example:
•
attachment of the wheels and tires
•
attachment of the hydraulic cylinder
•
the pins, forks and locking screws
•
the clamp connections
•
the hitch on the tractor
During operation
•
Ensure that the working range and the area
around the machine are clear (children) before
operating the machine.
•
None of the prescribed and provided
protective devices may be removed.
•
Persons are not allowed in the swing range of
hydraulically operated parts.
•
Use ladders and platforms only while not
operating with the machine. Riding on the
machine during the operating time is strictly
forbidden.
The hydraulic
The hydraulic system is under high pressure. Repair
damages immediately. Splashing oil may cause
injuries or fire. In case of injury, seek medical
attendance or a doctor immediately!
