1. Make sure the valves are clean and there is no contamination such as sand there.
2. Fully inflate the board (see "Inflating the board").
3. Spread soapy water over the entire board and check for bubbles. Bubbles form where there is a leak.
1 0. 2 LE AK Y V ALV E S
If bubbles form on a valve, it is likely that the valve does not close fully and is not air-tight. Use the valve key
(included in the repair kit) to tighten the valve by turning it clockwise.

If the board is losing air but there are no bubbles, it is likely that a valve is defective. To check, proceed as follows:
1. First screw the cap onto the valve by turning it clockwise.
2. Then apply some soapy water to the closed cap. If bubbles form, replace the valve (see "Replacing valves").

If bubbles form somewhere on the board's outer surface, there is a leak. Use the included special adhesive to seal
small leaks and repair larger leaks using the included patches.

1. Leaks greater than 2 mm can be sealed with adhesive and patches.
2. Fully deflate the board (see "Deflating the board").
3. Carefully clean the affected area and let it fully dry.
4. Cut a piece of patch that extends 1.5 cm over the leak on each side.
5. Apply adhesive to the bottom of the patch.
6. Apply some adhesive to the leak and the area surrounding it that will be covered by the patch.
7. Let the adhesive dry for approx. 2–4 minutes until it visibly thickens.
8. Place the patch on the leak and press it on firmly.
9. Let the adhesive dry for about 12 hours.
10. After drying, apply some more adhesive to the edges of the patch.
11. Let the adhesive dry for about 4 hours.
Before using the board again, make sure the leak is fully air-tight (see "Finding leaks"). If bubbles still form, try
sealing the leak again or contact our customer service at https://carromco.com/contact

To replace a valve, proceed as follows:
1. Fully deflate the board (see "Deflating the board").
2. Fully unscrew the cap on the valve by turning it counter clockwise and place it aside.
3. Place the valve key on the top part of the valve.
4. Grasp the part of the valve inside the board with your hands to prevent it from sliding into the board.
5. Remove the top part of the valve from the board by turning it counter clockwise.
6. Place the replacement valve on the bottom part of the valve and turn it clockwise to tighten. Make sure the valve is
centred.
