Troubleshooting

Problem solution

Wait until there is enough water in the well
for the pump to start automatically
Check why the overload occurred. Eliminate
the cause. Wait until the motor cools down
and switch on the pump using the switch built
into the safety box
Check that the electrical plug of the pump
is properly inserted in the electrical socket
Check the fuses in the house and any type
of installation fuses that can cut off the mains
supply
Check that there is power in the area around
your home - electricity may be disconnected
by the power company in a wider area
Check the voltage. Check that the cross-section
of the power supply cable is appropriate
Check that the float switch has not snagged
on the well wall or any object
