Pump installation Installation
The minimum cable length between the float mount and the float must not be less
than 8 cm. Failing this requirement will lead to damage to the insulation of the float
cable. In such case, repair of the pump will only be possible against payment.
The minimum dimensions of the tank to be emptied should allow the float to move
freely in the liquid to be pumped without hitting the walls of the tank. If the float can
get hung up on the tank wall, the pump should operate under the direct supervision
of the user to avoid any failure due to possible "dry running".
For 4SD, 4SDm, 3.5SCM, 3.5SDM.4ISPm, 4ISP, 3STm, 3Ti, 3SDm, 2.5STm, 3SCR, 3.5SCR,
3 " SQIBO, OLA, MEGI, 4SKM 2 STING, 6SD, 6ISP pumps due to the need to ensure motor
cooling during operation, the diameter of the borehole in which the pump operates
must not be greater than the diameters shown in the table below. The values are given
in mm. These diameters depend on the average capacity of the pump in question.
The OLA AUTO series of pumps is equipped with automatic pump control so that there
is no need to install additional accessories such as a pressure switch or external PC or
SK controls. The operating principle of the sensor is based on flow detection when
the pump is connected to the electrical and hydraulic systems - turning on the tap
will start the pump, while turning it off will stop the pump within a few seconds. The
pump has a built-in non-return valve to limit the backflow of water from the system.
FOR OLA AUTO PUMPS
Care should be taken when installing pumps in a well so that the pump is mounted not
lower than 50 cm above the well bottom in case the pump is suspended. It is possible
to place the pump on the bottom with an additional foot. In this case, a protective
foot should be used and the pump should be placed on a firm bed to prevent the
pump from burrowing/sinking into the sand.
• Both the Ola 60/60 and OLA AUTO can be installed together with
a hydrophore tank, but it should be noted that there is no need
to install an additional pressure switch when installing the OLA
AUTO pumps.
OLA AUTO - we recommend installing a diaphragm vessel with
at least 5 L for proper pump operation.
• The maximum immersion of the OLA AUTO pump is 15 m. The
lowest level to which the water level drops must be a minimum
of 15 cm above the bottom edge of the suction port surrounded
by a mesh.
