How to proceed
• Switch off the hob.
• Absorb liquids with a soft
cloth.
• Wipe the touch control area
with a clean, damp cloth or
soft sponge.
• Dry the area completely
with a textile or paper
towel.
• Remove the metal filter
(see installation chapter
for position).
• Soak the filter well in hot
rinsing water.
• Then clean it with a soft
brush and rinse it with hot
water,
or wash it separately from
the dishes in the dish-
washer using a standard
programme at 55 °C.
• After cleaning, allow the
filter to dry thoroughly be-
fore carefully reinserting it.
Important!
• If the control panel is soiled,
the hob may switch off.
• The touch panel may not func-
tion as long as there is liquid
on it. Make sure that you have
wiped the area completely
dry before you switch the hob
back on.
• Clean the filter every 2 - 3
weeks according to the fre-
quency of use.
• When cleaning, make sure
that the metal mesh is not
damaged.
• Avoid alkaline cleaning agents
(pH value above 7).
• Frequent cleaning or the use
of aggressive cleaning agents
can cause colour changes to
the metal surface.
This has no influence on the
filter function and is not a
reason for complaint.
