Before use
Correct use of the cookware
Note: Before using the cookware, make sure that its base is clean.
Soiling such as sand residue from peeling potatoes can damage
the cooking surface.
• Make sure that the base of your pan is
smooth und sits flat against the glass.
• Do not use cookware with jagged edges
or a curved base.
• Use cookware with a minimum base dia-
meter according to the following table.
• For best efficiency, always place the
cookware in the middle of the cooking
zone.
• Always lift pans off the hob.
Do not slide, or they may scratch the
glass.
Optimal cookware dimensions
The bottom of your cookware should have a certain minimum
diameter according to the cooking zone:
