Before use
Recirculation operation
The air drawn in is filtered and circulated in the room.
A charcoal filter (also called an active charcoal filter) should be
installed for this purpose in order to retain the odours produ-
ced during cooking.
When the cooker hood is operated in recirculation mode,
the simultaneous operation of appliances that are dependent
on room air is harmless.
• It is recommended to switch on the extractor fan a few minu-
tes before starting to cook.
• Set the power level of the hood according to the amount
of fumes to be extracted.
• After cooking, let the hood continue to run for approx. 5 to 10
minutes to remove any remaining vapours and odours from
the room air.
