üAdjust the lanyard to be able to work comfortably, with both hands free.
üIn the work position, adjusting the work positioning lanyard must not allow
a free fall greater than 0.50m.

Attaching a MODULAR LIGHTWEIGHT LOAD-CARRYING EQUIPMENT
(MOLLE) accessory to the MODULAR LIGHTWEIGHT ACCESSORY
STRAPS (MLAS)
The MLAS is a practical low profile textile interface that allows
convenient attachment of MOLLE certified accessories to waist
pad(cf.fig.
).

ü Insert the MOLLE straps through the first row on the MLAS and pull
through
ü Go down the straps through the first row on the MOLLE accessory
ü Insert the straps through the second row on the MLAS and pull through
ü Go down the straps through another row on the MOLLE accessory
ü To finish the procedure, secure the snap button on MOLLE accessory
Caution:
ü ALWAYS use BOTH rows when attaching a MOLLE certified accessory
ü The maximum total weight capacity of the MLAS shall not exceed 10 kg
ü All tools or objects placed inside the MOLLE pouches or accessories
should preferably be tethered to avoid any risk of fall.

WARNING
Tool tethers (cf. Fig. XI ), tooling slings or other metallic elements which are
not identified as anchorage points must never be used with a fall arrest, work
positioning, or retention system. Tool tethers may carry a maximum load of
2 kg, tool slings may carry a maximum load of 10kg.
Park points can resist to a load
points exceed the maximal load or if you pulled down sharply on the park
point, it will then be released from the harness. If the park point is detached
off the harness, it is still possible to attach it back to the harness without any
impact on the safety of the harness reliability.
For a fall arrest harness to be fully effective, it must be adjusted properly
Fig. XIII).
The equipment shall not be used outside its limitations, or for any
purpose other than that for which it is intended.
