IGNITION

Caution
• The top cover of the grill must always be open when lighting the burner.
• Make sure your face is not directly over the gas grill when lighting.
Controlled gas ignition control
1. With all gas controls turned off in the "OFF" position, turn on the gas cylinder valve
on the regulator.
2. To create a spark, you must press and hold the gas control knob (A) for
3-5 seconds to allow gas flow.
3. Now turn the throttle knob counter-clockwise to the "HI" (B) position. This can cause
a spark on the ignition tube of the burner.
4. You will hear the igniter "click" and an orange flame will come out of the burner
pilot tube on the left side of the burner (D).
5. After hearing the "click", hold the gas regulator (A) for a further two seconds so that
the gas flow can flow into the entire burner tube (E) and ignition is thereby ensured.
6. When the burner is on, adjacent burners with controls in the "HI" position will also
ignite.
7. In the "HI" position, the burner flame should be approximately 12-20 mm long with
a minimal amount of orange flame. Turn the gas control fully counter-clockwise for
the smallest flame.
NOTES
• If you have difficulty lighting the gas grill after following the steps above, contact
the device manufacturer or customer service.
• If the automatic ignition cannot be used, please remove the grill grid and heat
distributor (heating plate) and turn the valve counter-clockwise to 90° to light the
grill with a grill lighter at a distance of 5 mm from the burner hole. Then, put the grill
grid and heat distributor (heating plate) back in place. Please wear heat-resistant
protective gloves during this time.
