the mains power, pull the mains plug
out of the plug socket immediately.
Only after this should you retrieve the
control unit from the water. Never at-
tempt to pull it out of the water while
it is connected to the mains power!

Never touch the device or the con-
necting cable with wet hands when
the device is connected to the mains
power.
WARNING – Danger of Fire

Keep the device and accessories away
from fi re and other heat sources.
■
Do not cover the control unit during
operation or charging in order to pre-
vent the device from catching fi re.
WARNING – Danger from
Rechargeable Batteries
■
The control unit with a built-in battery
must not be taken apart, thrown into a
fi re or exposed to high temperatures
of over +40°C. The battery could
ignite or explode.
■
Make sure that the control unit cannot
become wet. Do not use the control
unit if liquid has got inside it. The
battery in the control unit could ignite
or explode.
■
Do not cover the device during charg-
ing to prevent overheating.
WARNING – Danger of Injury
■
Keep the packaging material away
from children and animals. There is a
danger of suffocation.
■
If the battery leaks, avoid physical con-
tact with the battery acid. Wear pro-
tective gloves if necessary. If you touch
battery acid, rinse the affected areas
with abundant clear water straight
away and seek medical assistance im-
mediately. There is a danger of burns
from battery acid.
■
Make sure that the USB cable is always
kept out of the reach of small children
and animals. There is a danger of
strangulation.
■
Make sure that the connected USB
cable does not present a trip hazard.
NOTICE – Risk of Damage to
Material and Property

The device must be switched off when
it is connected to or disconnected
from the mains power.
■
Make sure that the connecting cable
is not squashed, bent or laid over
sharp edges and does not come into
contact with hot surfaces.
■
Pull the mains adapter out of the
socket if an error occurs during charg-
ing or before a thunderstorm.
■
When the USB mains adapter is
pulled out of the plug socket, always
pull on the USB mains adapter and
never the USB cable.
■
Use only original accessories from the
manufacturer in order to guarantee
that there is no interference that may
prevent the device from working and
to avoid possible damage.
■
Protect the device from heat sourc-
es, fl ames, sub-zero temperatures,
persistent moisture, wet conditions
and impacts.
■
Do not place anything on the cuffs so
that they are not damaged.
