Children must not play with the device.

Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by

children without supervision.
Children younger than 8 years of age and animals must be

kept away from the device and the connecting cable.
The device has a hot surface. People who are insensitive to

heat must be careful when using the device.
The device may not be used by people who are vulnerable and

are unable to react to overheating.
The device is not designed for use in hospitals.

Do not use the device if it is wet or damp. It must be com-
■
pletely dry before it is used.
No safety pins or other sharp or pointed objects must be at-
■
tached to the device or inserted into it.
Do not switch on the device when it is folded up. It must
■
always be spread out prior to use to prevent the build-up of
heat.
The device must always be disconnected from the mains pow-
■
er when left unattended and before cleaning it.
Always allow the device to cool down completely before it is
■
washed, folded up and / or stored away.
To ensure that the device is not damaged, fold it up loosely,
■
do not press it together fi rmly or bend it. Do not place any
objects, animals or people on the folded device.
Only use the included USB mains adapter or proper USB mains
■
adapters with the same technical specifi cations as the cuffs.
Do not make any modifi cations to the device. If the device
■
is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or cus-
tomer service department or a similarly qualifi ed person (e.g.
specialist workshop) in order to avoid any hazards.
