Art. 1406A4 is a Simplebus2 system module
allowing the forwarding of video entry phone calls to
smartphones/tablets via the Comelit SimpleApp; this
application for Android and iOS can be used to send
lock-release commands and to execute external unit
self activation for live streaming from the camera.
The module supports up to 4 apartments, with 15
apps that can be enabled for each apartment.

Power the art. 1406A4 using the art. SK9015A as
reported in the wiring diagram. Art. 1406A4 can
also be powered by art. 1595 or art. 1212/B.
3. CV5 Jumper Line termination, this must be
closed if art. 1406A4 is installed at the end of
the riser as a replacement for art. 1216 (factory
setting: closed).
4. S1 DIP-switches Not used.
5. Reset DIP-switches Microswitches for carrying
out the factory reset procedure.

To configure module 1406A4, carry out
the steps below:
1. Fill in the System Data form
} Make a note of the system configuration using the
form provided in the package.
List the general system information and make a note of
the Simplebus address assigned to each apartment.
This module should be sent to the building
administrator or to the individual responsible for
system maintenance, to keep track of activations and
to provide the activation QR code if it is misplaced.
2. Distribute the labels
intended for users
The package includes 4 adhesive
labels and 4 instruction booklets in line
with the
apartments that can be configured.
Both show the QR code required by
the user in order to download and
activate the SimpleApp.

The QR code is unique to each
apartment and allows the user to
independently register up to 15 users

safe place for future reference in the
event of future activations or tenant
changes!
